Refund policy

Your right to cancel

If you're ordering as a consumer within the EU, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason, in line with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

To be eligible for this cancellation right, your bottle must be:

Unopened and unused
With the seal intact
In its original packaging

Once the seal on a bottle has been broken, it cannot be returned under the right of cancellation. This is a hygiene requirement for fragrance and cosmetic products, not a Darchitectures policy choice — sealed goods that are unsuitable for return once unsealed are exempt from the standard withdrawal right under EU consumer law.

This means:

Unopened bottles: returnable within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.
Opened or unsealed bottles: not eligible for return or refund, except where the product is faulty or was damaged in transit (see below).

Discovery Kits and Sample Packs

Sample vials are intended to be tried, so the Sample Pack follows the same seal-based rule: an unopened, intact pack can be returned within 14 days; once any vial has been opened, the pack is no longer eligible for return.

Faulty or damaged items

If a bottle arrives damaged, leaking, or otherwise faulty, this is separate from the standard right of cancellation and your statutory rights are unaffected regardless of whether the seal has been broken. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

How to request a return

Email sales@darchitectures.co with your order number within 14 days of delivery.
We'll confirm eligibility and send return instructions.
Pack the bottle securely in its original packaging and ship it back to the address we provide.
Return shipping is at the customer's cost unless the item is faulty or damaged.

Refunds

Once we've received and inspected the returned item, we'll process your refund to the original payment method within 14 days. We'll notify you by email once it's on its way.

How to withdraw from your order

You can cancel your order electronically at any time during the 14-day period from your order status page or account, using the withdrawal link provided there. You'll be asked to confirm your name and order details, and we'll send you an automatic email confirmation once your withdrawal is received.
